Colin Beason is newest member to our GameDay family!!!

I am extremely proud to introduce you to Colin Beason, Class of 2024, of David Crockett High School, Jonesboro, TN! Colin has played for me in the past and let me be the first to tell you…Colin is a GAMER! Colin has the ability to shoot the 3 ball at a high percentage and then take advantage of his size and score against smaller guards in the post. I have ALWAYS told Colin and others that he possess’s the best “head and shoulder, ball fake” of any one in the area…..GUARANTEED! When talking to Coach Cody Connell about Colin, you can instantly tell the impact that Colin has on the program and his teammates. “Colin is an absolute pleasure to have on the Pioneer basketball team and his value to the team and David Crockett High School can’t be measured by just what he does on the basketball floor!” Coach Connell also added “Colin would be an asset to any program that has Colin on their roster, as Colin is averaging 15ppg, 2nd on the team in assists, and 3rd on team in rebounding! I love that young man and really hope that he has an opportunity at the next level because he will prove to be a great piece to their puzzle! Colin’s attitude and habits this year has been amazing!”

Colin is averaging 15 ppg, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists per game as of right now, with his top games being: vs Hampton…21 points, 13 rebounds, 3 steals; vs Providence Academy…27 points, 3 steals; vs West Ridge…20 points and 9 rebounds; vs Daniel Boone …20 points and 8 boards. Colin also received the tourney MVP on a recent holiday tournament in Daytona Beach, Florida!

Although Colin is a bit under the radar for college coaches right now…we fully expect Colin to continue to have his name and stock rise in the next few months!!!
