What started out a year ago as a dream is quickly becoming a reality for us here at GameDay Recruiting! When the passion started becoming real was the day I called Code & Color, in Kingsport, TN, for info concerning a website for GameDay Recruiting. I was greeted by April Nave, a wonderful sales rep, who went above and beyond to help the Cassell family get GameDay off the ground and rolling! The entire team at Code & Color has been so wonderful and easy to work with that we knew we had found the perfect company to work with to establish a website!
The first recruit that we were able to help was Creed Musick, Tennessee High School, Bristol, TN. Creed was able to acquire several offers and decided Pfeiffer University was his destination! As word began to spread, we were able to garner Brady Stump and Jonavan Gillespie, both of Dobyns-Bennett High School, Kingsport, TN, several offers to play at the next level! Now as we fast forward to 2024, GameDay Recruiting is starting to hit on another level as we represent several local high school hoopers, as well as some players from as far as Georgia, North Carolina, Virginia, and South Carolina.
There is no better feeling when my phone rings and I get to hear a young man say…”Coach, I just got off the phone with (a college coach) and they made me an official offer! Can you believe it? I am so happy and excited! Thank you for all your help!” This call makes it ALL worth while because at the end of the day…We all need a little help sometimes and it’s our duty to do what we can to help others!
The last few weeks have proved to be a very exciting time of year for GameDay Recruiting because we have had several players choose their college destinations and commit to some very happy coaches! Just to play a small in their quest to fulfill their dreams of playing basketball at the collegiate level is an awesome feeling! (We will have a new post coming soon with players and their offer list or committed school)
