Peyton “Reece” Rodriguez, Class of 2024, Hendersonville High School knew what he wanted his team accomplish coming into tournament time! Reece also knew that he was also available to do whatever it would take to enable “The Ville” to claim a championship! I have said for weeks how I was impressed with the mindset that Reece approaches each and every game with. I have witnessed Reece assess the game at the start and process the info given and then decide how he wants to approach and play the game. This is another level of basketball that a lot guys can’t do at the high school level, but Reece is a very mature player with a very high IQ for the game! Most recently Reece showed his ability to do this as he witnessed his team needing him to be a scorer and he responded by knocking down 6 three pointers in the game vs Polk County, NC.
Any program looking for a pg that can do a lot of things well certainly needs to pay attention to Reece…he will make your team more successful!
