Colin Brown, Tennessee High School, Class of 2025, has proven to be one of the more elite players in the East Tennessee area. Colin is one of the quickest players that you will find anywhere and can influence the game in so many ways. Colin has proved for 3 years that he can score from anywhere on the floor, consisting from 25 foot bombs…floaters in the lane…to contested and physical finishes at the rim!!! One thing that we like about Colin is how seems to really enjoy playing the game because of the everlasting smile that’s always his face. Colin also scored his 1000th point last week!!!
While talking with Head Coach Michael McMeans about Colin, he was quick to voice his thoughts and feelings about his point guard, “Colin is an absolute joy to coach. He can score from all 3 levels consistently. We have played numerous high level teams from Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Massachusetts, Washington DC, New Jersey, and the best team in the Bahamas and I have yet to see any of those teams that has stayed in front of him or press him!” “One of his best qualities tho is that he is just a great kid who applies what I tell him. He takes my coaching and makes the adjustment on the floor. Colin will run the offensive system that we have in place, or Colin can be the system, and go get us a score when we need him to!” Assistant Coach Hayden Cassell added that Colin is “a tireless worker who is always in the gym working on his craft and getting better and is as great a young man off the floor as he is a great player while on the floor!”
