While competing recently in the Hardwood Basketball Inc. Fall League, in Greenville, South Carolina. Reece led his Team ‘Ville to a perfect record, while filling a huge role…from playing to being the coach for a younger team! That is one huge thing that we LOVE about Reece, in that he is ALWAYS giving back to his community and younger teams!
Reece averaged 13 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 3 steals per game, while missing several half’s of games because he was coaching a younger team at the same time. I look for Reece to continue to build upon this success, as he will be a key returner for his Hendersonville High School team. Reece credits his play, work ethic, and willingness to give back to others as a tribute to his Grandmother, whom he lost as a 12 year old. “My Grandmother always stressed to me to be good to others and to always be willing to give back,” Reece recently told me “and because of her, I am always willing to make time for others!” To us, at GameDay Recruiting, we applaud Reece for his willingness to give back and we know that this is a trait that we can all do better at!
